About Me

about meDr. Christo Franklin is a six-year veteran of L.A. county’s EOB (on-scene suicide, barricade, and hostage negotiation responders). He responded to 5,000 cases and now trains others. He graduated Princeton, Yale, and the Chicago School. He is 47 years old, lives in Venice, and has an inter-ethnic, inter-faith marriage. Before becoming a psychologist, he trained to be an Episcopal priest, served as hospice chaplain, and continues to serve non-denominationally in South Central and Highland Park. He left EOB in June 2010 and now is in private practice in downtown LA, where he is very happy.
